Review content:
The clutch pedal broke on my truck and the shop I usually go to said it was too big a job for them and had it towed to Seattle Transmission. First off Seattle Transmisson talked me into a whole new clutch – which I didn’t need. After a few days I called them and they said the truck would be ready in the afternoon. I picked it up and started to drive it home. BTW - They charged me a twice what I thought I was going to pay. The cab was filthy from the workmen and they’d left tools inside the truck. After a block or so, of driving, the transmission started to rattle - LOUD. Then I notice the lights on the shifter were not working. It then dawned on me to try the four wheel drive. It would not shift into four wheel drive and the transmission started grinding – with effort I got into four wheel drive and then it would not go back. I called them and got the story that transmissions rattle and that shifting to four wheel drive will make it grind. WELL IT DIDN’T BEFORE I TOOK IT THERE! I took the truck back on Monday. They called me three days later and said it was fixed. IT WASN'T!! These guys do not care if they do a bad job and if you have to bring it back 50 times. Although the rattle was gone the lights still didn’t work and I’m afraid to try four wheel drive – and to make matters worse they had run the battery down to the point it would not start at the shop. They jumped the truck so I could drive it but I had to buy a new battery when I got home. I’ve had the truck back for a week now and I went go to the dump and noticed all my tie down straps were gone – and under the leaves in the back were wood scraps that were not from me. Evidently they used my truck for hauling while it was there and kept the straps. These guys will rip you off and smile about it!! They don’t care if they do a bad job and will give you the around. STAY AWAY!!! Pros: Old Guys Cons: Will rip you off and smile about it
