Review content:
I have been going to Tanya at True Color Hair Design for nearly a year to get my hair cut. I have been very pleased with the salon and - most importantly - the haircut. I am very particular about my hair and I have been challenged to find a good hairstylist in the North Seattle/North King County area. Most other salons I've been to are either one extreme or the other - either too pretentious, or too fast and sloppy. True Color - and specifically Tanya - are right in the middle. The salon is comfortable and tasteful without being pretentious. The people are friendly and best of all - I don't feel like I'm old enough to be their mother! There has always been free street parking somewhere in the immediate vicinity - sometimes right in front of the shop - and the cost of the haircut is reasonable (under $50 with tip). Also important for me - on occasion I have had to bring my 6 year old son with me and they have always treated him kindly and respectfully. I highly recommend this hidden gem in the Maple Leaf neighborhood. Pros: Mature staff, parking, price Cons: None that I can think of
