Businiess name:  Gro Salon

Review content:
I have been going to Gro Salon for sometime now and can't say enough about how awesome the salon is. Everyone I come into contact there from reception to shampoo is great. The attitude and decorum is rebellious and stylish. In contrast to usual punk rock condescension, the crew at Gro are way down to earth, approachable, and amicable.\r I am always greeted by name from the minute I walk in the door. Both my colorist (Judith) and stylist are amazing and are able to translate my inarticulate hair -speak into a style and shade that is exactly what I wanted, but couldn't express. Judith pushes my limits to the perfect degree; I always leave feeling very comfortable with my hair and still very ""me"", but with a slight edginess. She's is super helpful with suggestions when I want a slight change & with talking me through each step of the cut and color. \r \r And as an added bonus, Judith is one of the sunniest and happiest people that I know. She's always smiling, and laughing as she bustles about the salon mixing color, and weaving mysterious goop in between foils on my head. She' s also a fantastic story teller, making the time in the chair fly by. \r \r And I love Esther who manages the salon; she has a fantastically dry sense of humor! And best of all, she's incredibly efficient and always gets me in when I need it most. Esther has helped me out of last minute hair emergencies on several occasions. \r \r I could go on and on about how great the salon is; but bottom line - I love 'em at Gro. They serve up a little punk rock attitude with a genuine smile and refined skill-- a rariety in homogeonous Bucktown.
