Buyer Beware
Frank the Pool Guy seems like a nice trustworthy guy. Watch out. I have been waiting three years to get my pool finished and closed out with North Miami. The auto fill never worked, the chlorinator doesn’t work, the pool finish has rebar sticking through it. I could live with the substandard work, but Blue Water Pools can’t get the permit finalized with the City of North Miami.
When the pool was 80% they demanded final payment before they would plaster and fill the pool. When I refused, they had their lawyer threaten a lawsuit. They made it clear that they would walk away from the job and sue unless I paid.
Bottom line: I paid and they can’t finish.
