Tooky Mills has all of the potential to be a great restaurant, and yet isnt. Living locally, I have been three times in different years and have experienced the same problems each time. The service is simply awful! Twice I have been sat at a table and it has been close to an hour to get my order taken. The second time I asked the hostess twice to find our waitress and she eventually ended up taking us herself. The third time I was part of a larger party (their choice to go there, not mine) The concept of seperating checks was a mystery and TWICE IN A ROW the waitress took drink orders from everyone at my table except me and ran off before she could be caught. It still took a very long time to get our drinks and meals. That said, the food is ok, the atmosphere is wonderful and inspite of the service, the place is always packed and in the summer there are always 5-6 Harleys parked out front. For the life of me I dont know what they all see in the place....\r
I would make the trip out to Bennington and visit Alberto's, walk up the street to Nonies, or stay home unitl Diamond Acres is rebuilt after their fire last winter. Maplehurst Inn in Antrim is an option although I have not been there yet
Pros: Nice Ambience
Cons: Service so Bad you think you are on Candid Camera!
