Review content:
A few weeks ago we were at Skillets in the Ballantyne area, Charlotte NC.  My friend had a quesadilla with melted cheese and fresh salsa (""pico de gallo"") inside and tasty black beans on the side. I have wheat and dairy allergies, so I chose the tuna plate: a generous tuna salad with fresh mixed greens, and lots of fruits. I also ordered a side of skillets potatoes (without the cream): nice crispy hash browns without the soaking fat! Tasty and heart warming!. Another time I had the grits and oatmeal: always with that ""just right"" feeling: not too moist, not too dry, fresh and never greasy! Those with food sensitivities will appreciated how hard it is to find a healthy satisfying meal. The chai latte was tempting and the coffee smelled great but I could not have any because I drink mine white and there was no soy or rice milk as an alternative to milk. This is my only suggestion. Staff is super friendly. You really get the impression that you are walking into a family operation: cheerful, enthusiastic, happy to be there and serve you! Go and enjoy!
