I made the mistake of taking my truck to this shop for some work about 2 years ago. They were supposed to reconfigure and relocate the shock absorber mounting points. They charged me $800 and did nothing other than knock off some rust with a wire brush and spay paint the metal. After I got home and had a chance to crawl under it and look at what had been done, I called the owner of Off Road Unlimited and asked what the hell was going on. He responded that he felt like he had done $800 worth of work and was under no obligation to refund me any money. That incident has stuck with me ever since. In my opinion, this guy is a petty thief and a con man masquerading as an auto mechanic. I ended up going to another off road shop in Houston about 6 months later where the work was actually done and done right. My advice to others is stay away from this jerk if you don't want to be taken to the cleaners. I would not doubt for a minute that those favorable comments posted about this shop were either posted by him or some of his employees.\r
