Seems as though everybody who comes to Berkshire County HAS to eat at the Dakota. Okay, it is great on ambience for an inexperienced out of towner; fireplaces, rough hewn walls, the signature New England way of life. The salad bar is big (IF YOU are big on salad bars) but the meal is standard fare; meat, fish, poultry and baked potato! Not the BEST in beef, but you may find a good cut after a couple of visits. It's chain, just like Ponderosa et ux!\r Rather pricey but it's located in the mid-Berkshire County corridor on Rte 7, 1/2 way between nothingness to the North and Tanglewood & Stockbridge to the South so you pay the price. Pros: The Dining Ambience is Very New England Cons: Parking is tiered, so in the winter, be prepared to coast in!!!
