Review content:
On October 18, 2008, I brought a two piece suit to Delmar Custom Tailors to be fixed and altered.\r \r On arriving the following Saturday, the tailor showed me the fix that he had done to the jacket. He and I agreed the fix was not very good. He suggested he could send the jacket to NYC where the jacket could be rewoven and it would look ?as good as new?. I told him that I paid $600 for the suit and it would be worth it to have him send it to NYC. He would keep the pants and I could pick the entire suit up around November 8, 2008.\r \r Between November 8, 2008 and January 16, 2009 I had stopped at the tailors several times to find out if my suit was back and finished. Every time I stopped in, he gave me a different excuse as to why the suit was not there.\r \r Finally, I had my son go with me on January 17, 2009 to get a specific reason why the suit was neither back nor done. He stated this time, 3 months later, that he gave my $600 suit to the Salvation Army.\r \r The tailor gave me two options. 1) I could let his insurance handle it or 2) He would get me a suit. I asked how he was going to get me a suit. 1) ?Are you going to give me the money to buy a suit?? Which he replied ?No, I will get you a suit? and 2) ?Are you going to take me shopping to buy me a suit?? Which he replied ?No, I will get you suit.? \r \r At this point I became so disgusted over the situation I walked out leaving my son inside to handle the matter.\r \r On January 21, 2009, I filed a small claims action against Delmar Custom Tailors.\r \r On February 6, 2009 I received a letter from the tailor stating ?he found my suit? on January 30, 2009. I went to the tailors on February 9, 2009 to retrieve my suit. He never fixed the jacket because he never sent the suit to NYC.\r \r After 3 ? months of excuses, it took a small claims action against the tailor to ?help him find my suit.? \r \r Should you use this tailor? After you have read this review only you the reader can decide.\r
