Review content:
Dr. Edwards is just a quality quality orthodontist. He is not into the latest gizmos (half of which don't work at all anyway) and knows what works for each person. I came in thinking that I wanted lingual braces but after hearing his experiences with that device, I changed my mind. I then expected him to push me into Invisalign because I know that it's a high margin procedure for orthodontists but he didn't. In fact, he recommended standard braces provided I had no objection to the cosmetics as a better solution. I ended up going with Invisalign because I happen to care about how I look for the next 6 months but Dr. Edwards was very clear that I would be trading some speed for the cosmetic advantage of Invisalign. This is old school medical treatment: full disclosure of the pros and cons and then the patient gets to decide.\r Now that I'm in process (done in 2 months - yay!), I see that I have been treated very well throughout my visits and that the repositioning of my teeth is already achieved (but Dr. Edwards says that the next 2 months will ensure they stay where they are). Absolutely no doubts about fully recommending this orthodontist. Pros: experience, chairside manner, empowering of the patient, on time with all appointments
