Review content:
After moving to Texas(from the Philly area) in 1997, first to Dallas then to Houston in 1999 my search for someplace to get a good cheesesteak seemed hopeless. All of the places I had been to were really bad. I decided to try one more time when I drove by Jake's and am extremely happy I stopped. When I walked in it was like walking back onto South Street. Everything was Philadelphia right down to the Charlie's Chips I grew up with. The cheesesteak was out of this world. I was back in Philly. My friends that come down to visit always go there with me. For those of you that have no real frame of reference as to what a cheesesteak should taste like, this is it. Unless you plan on going to Philadelphia for one, this is where you need to be.
Pros: Inexpensive
Cons: More parking needed, More seats needed
