The Maria College Campus Preschool is the best preschool in the Capital District, especially if you, like me, are looking for a program that helps your child make the transition from preschool to full-day kindergarten. Few Capital District preschools offer a preschool/ prekindergarten program that is 5 half-days a week. My son is more than ready for full-day kindergarten next year!! My son he has had an absolutely phenomenal experience at the Campus School. From the very start, each teacher, teaching assistant and member of the Campus School staff has gone out of their way to make him feel like he and his entire family are important parts of the Campus School family. He has learned and grown so much in the past two years. He is a confident, outgoing and enthusiastic child, who has loved every minute of his Campus School experience. He is truly excited about learning and actively pursues new academic and intellectual challenges. At his own initiative, he has “authored” books, taken significant steps toward learning to read and sought new opportunities to be creative. In addition, he has developed wonderful (hopefully, lifelong) friendships at the Campus School. I am not certain any of this would be true had he attended another preschool or pre-kindergarten program. I can say without hesitation that the Campus School has no parallel.
