From the outside it looks like a gas station. You're not far off...it was at one time...hence the name. You'll never find Plainfield Station unless someone takes you their...or you're lost somewhere between Davis and Woodland. It's a place to go to toss back a few away from the college crowds of Davis...and they serve a great burger, too. It's out in the middle of nowhere...just this strange little building on a rural road. If someone ever says...let's try Plainfield Station...put on your grubby jeans and t-shirt...where a baseball cap if you've got one...take a quiet drive through the country and be ready to chow down on a good burger and some beer on tap.
