Years ago before the new owners and the remodle, which consisted of Martha Stewart painted walls and floors with white down comforters. It was a great place to stay the gardens were beautiful, the rooms were full of flowers. The price was right. When the past owner passed away it all changed. The raised the room rates and made it a 2 night minium requirement. I usto go every summer and stay there about 5 times a year. Now its to expensive and not worth it. Im usually looking for a one night stay when I go t Stinsen Beach, not 3 day 2 night trip. The Rates 70.00 to 230.00 for a room that has nothing in it. I usto stay at the large room with the kitchen front room and bedroom the largest unit for 70.00 now its 230.00. $460.00 for the weekend. Im better off at the Ritz SF for one night for that price. \r

Its all a shame. You could tell that the previous owner loved her gardens. She loved placing fresh cut flowers in each room. The windows that barely closed because of all the bougainvillea. A really nice and quiet place to stay. She made us feel very welcomed everytime we came, we miss her terribally.
