Review content:
I had a relationship with this salon for awhile. Ken the owner, is one of my former clients from when I used to represent a cosmetic company. His employee, Alan usually cuts my hair, and does a nice job.\r One time Alan was not available, so I agreed to go to another stylist. She was an older Asian lady, and I was told she was a senior stylist. I told her I wanted a simple two inch trim with really long layers.\r She cut off more than seven inches and went Edward Scissorhands on my hair. (She literally hacked my hair with a razor) I got mad at her, and she stopped cutting my hair. My hair went from the middle of my back, to just past my shoulders. The front was barely cut, so I had a sloppy short cut in back, and the front was long and stringy.\r I called the owner very early the next day, and he said Alan would fix the cut for free.\r Alan is very nice, and never says anything about anybody's work, but he was really surprised and frustrated at how bad of a cut I got. He had to cut an additional ich or two to even out the string psychotic mess the lady had created. I ended up with a layered bob that went just past my collar. It was better, but I hated it. It ruined my self esteem for almost the whole year it took to grow it long again.\r To add insult to injury, the stupid lady gave me dirty looks the whole time Alan was recutting my hair.\r I love the owner and Alan, but I will never go back as long as that incompetent, untalented lady is still working there. Mainly because it means she is being allowed to trash other people's hair, and as a former stylist and business owner myself, I would have kicked her out of the salon! Pros: Alan and Ken are wonderful Cons: Older Asian lady is untalented and incompetent, and rude!
