Review content:
Circumstances:\r I arrived at the Auburn restaurant from work, intending to meet my wife and children, before an elementary school function with our children. I was coming from work and my wife and two children were coming from shopping. I arrived early, and went to the bar, and ordered a light beer. My wife and two children arrived about 20 minutes later. Rather than transfering my tab to the dining room, I closed out the tab so I could give the server a tip.\r \r When I took my beer out to the dining portion of the restaurant, I met my wife who was quite upset because the waitress was refusing to seat my family, stating that since they were not intending to eat (just purchase sodas or a snack), that they would not be allowed to be seated. This didn't pass the reasonableness test, and the issue was brought to the manager, who seemed to understand, and sat my family promptly.\r \r Shortly after, the same manager came to the table and instructed us to leave promptly. His statement was that the Longhorn is not a ""lounge"" and we are breaking rules. Again, my family was intending to purchase either drinks or some small food items, while I finished my beer, and then we would be headed off for a nice family outing to watch my daughter play in an elementary band festival in Auburn.\r \r The Longhorn ruined our evening. I am so completely disgusted with the rudeness and arrogance of the manager there. I believe his name is Dave Allen or Dan?? He didn't seem to care that I mentioned we have been loyal customers for a long time, dining on many occasions, and my company has catered events with the Longhorn in the past many many times.\r \r We have never been refused service anywhere for anything at any time. I am beyond upset, and will no longer continue to EVER do business with the Longhorn, nor will my company, and I will be sure to let all my friends, employees, and others know about my complete displeasure with the Longhorn. \r
