Businiess name:  Sun Shield Window Tint
Review by:  citysearch c.
Review content:
They installed Huper Optik Drei tint for about $580 on my fairly mint '99 SC300 w/ 60k miles back in January. The tint didn't cure properly and had a ton of bubbles (maybe because of the weather at the time) and 7 months later (a week ago) I had them redo it. The first guy (manager's brother) said a couple windows were fine but he would make an appointment for me anyway. I disagreed and decided to contact Huper Optik directly to make sure ALL windows would be redone. Dropped it off, they redid all the windows. No problem right? Wrong. They cut up 3 out of the 4 window trims in my car. I sent Huper the pictures and they had Anthony (manager/owner) call me this morning. Anthony explained that he installed the tint on my car and inspected the car afterward. He said there was no damage during the 'inspection'. He must be blind because the trims are all cut up. He then tried to tell me that no blades were used and that it is computer cut. Maybe he thinks I am dumb or a pushover. So after a few minutes of back-and-forth arguing, they are not willing to do anything about it because Anthony won't fess up to his mistake. He said they didn't do it but they are not blaming me either. Then who the hell did it? The money to pay for new trims isn't a big deal. But I feel insulted and I DIDN'T EVEN GET AN APOLOGY, which is all I really wanted. Look at the pictures and decide for yourself if this is the quality one would expect for a $600 tint job. No blades, huh? Computer cut? Right.. maybe the computer missed the part that covers the edge of the window- this is consistent with the cut marks on the trim. i131.photobucket com/albums/p289/xnotoriousfobx/for%20sale/IMG_20110826_135925.jpg i131.photobucket com/albums/p289/xnotoriousfobx/for%20sale/IMG_20110826_135947.jpg i131.photobucket com/albums/p289/xnotoriousfobx/for%20sale/IMG_20110826_140048.jpg i131.photobucket com/albums/p289/xnotoriousfobx/for%20sale/IMG_20110826_140108.jpg i131.photobucket com/albums/p289/xnotoriousfobx/for%20sale/IMG_20110826_140121.jpg i131.photobucket com/albums/p289/xnotoriousfobx/for%20sale/IMG_20110826_135937.jpg
