If you haven't been to Bianca's lately, you haven't been to Bianca's. Their new Chef started in August and worked at the Baricelli Inn in Little Italy. The specials that he features are second to none. I have travelled on business for 30 years and have eaten at some of the finest restaurants in many cities (and countries). The meal I had there last night was in the top ten best I have eaten. It was a veal chop served with Jo Jo potatoes (trust me these were made from fresh potatoes) and steamed vegetables. The plating was absolutely superb. It looked great. Even though they gave me a steak knife I didn't need it. It was tender juicy and spot on perfect seasoning. The potatoes had no resemblance of those nasty Jo Jo potatoes served and cheap pizza places. Hand breaded in an incredible seasoned breading. I normally do not care for steamed vegetables but these were perfectly cooked and seasoned just right to let the natural flavor come out. The chef came out and walked to all the tables to make sure everyone enjoyed the food. I complemented him on the food and he said how he really puts his heart in the specials that he serves. Normally restaurants will run specials to get rid of a protein they have too much of, he does it to out of a sense of passion he has for cooking. You need to go there and try one of the specials.\r
