Brought my mower in because the motor kept dying. They wanted $45 just to look at it! Like an idiot, I paid it, because they said it would go towards the cost of the repair. Three days later I'm told it needs a new carburetor which will run me $150 in repairs! The mower itself was $100 new! I told them it was a huge mistake to pay $45 to have a cheap mower looked at and would they even give me half my money back, or allow me to apply half of it to something in their store? No way. They wouldn't budge. I then brought the mower up to Ace Hardware in Golden Valley on Hwy 55. They will look at it for free, but even in talking to the mechanic, I found out the carburetor probably just needs to be cleaned out, a $35 job. I highly recommend Ace in GV for mower repairs. Used them for years when I lived in that area. Now I will drive out of my way to use them again.
