Review content:
This review is given to notify patrons that not customers are served equally. I made a reservation for three people more than a month in advance. We were from out of town and visiting our daughter. This was the first visit to Café Poca Cosa and we were celebrating our anniversary. My wife and I arrived a few minutes early and our daughter was going to join us late. There was no waiting line to be seated. We were seated at a table for two in a corner next to a partition blocking our view of most of the restaurant. I asked for a larger table and I was denied. I was told that larger tables were reserved for parties of three or more and that a chair could be added to our two-person table when my daughter arrives. Within fifteen minutes, the table for four that I requested was given to a party of two. I called our daughter not to meet us. I brought this issue to the Manager and I received excuses, poor excuses, and not a solution. The other issue is that since we were in a corner the attention given us was poor. The food was above average. To say the least, our anniversary dinner was not what I planned for my wife and I will never eat at Café Poca Cosa again. I have many family, friends, and colleagues in the Tucson area and I plan to share this story as often as I can and convince them not to eat at Café Poca Cosa.
