Businiess name:  West Side Diner
Review by:  Dom M.
Review content:
For years, the Arrow Diner was a Denville fixture for people looking for a decent burger, hot cup-a-joe and a greasy egg and bacon breakfast. My old boss was a regular - spending nearly every Saturday morning sipping his tea and eating heart stopping chow. Recently, the old Silk City Diner was torn down (a sad day) and a new chrome cookie cutter building arose from the ashes. And while the atmosphere isn't there any more, the food has vastly improved. We visit on Sundays for breakfast. They do eggs and pancakes and French toast and waffles - all as good as any and better than some. But the real star of the show is the breakfast ham. It's so good that I order it as a side dish even when I order something other than eggs. It is fresh ham cooked to perfection. I love it and I bet if you eat ham, you will love it too. The parking lot is a little screwy. The building lacks the original charm, but a good diner is all about the food and if that's your yardstick, the West Side is for you.
