I've had horrible experiences here in the past and have vowed in the past never to return, but the fact of the matter is that it is close, and sometimes its the most convenient place to pick up a tube or bar tape, or other randome part or accessory. Never again though. Today, I experienced my worst experience and I wll never be back to this store again. I purchased a bicycle online and installed it myself, except that I didn't fully adjust the brakes, since, as I mentioned before I have never gotten the hang of it. I also didn't install the crank arms because I couldn't find my hex set. I decided I'd swing by and see if I could pay to have these last remaining items done here. I arrived, left my bicycle on my car rack and walked inside to inquire as to whether they could perform these services for me. I was told by some younger gentleman that I could. When I brought my bicycle in the older gentleman was out and told me, contrary to what the younger person told me, that they couldn't do it that day, and that I would have to leave it. I agreed to that, which inexplicably seemed to annoy him. He then, hostilly, said he was gonna have to charge me a hundred dollars for the installation package. I assumed he meant because the crank arms needed installing. I asked, then, if I could just have the brakes adjusted, to which he said, ""just go home and do your job."" Immediately, I felt my blood boil, and I know I was justified since his hostility even seemed to shock the young employee and another customer that was in there browsing. Rather than start an argument with an unreasonable person, I decided my best bet was to just grab my bicycle and leave. This was about two hours ago. Since that time, I took my bicycle elsewhere and got everything I needed done. So yeah, be warned if you show up when the older guy is on his period, prepare to be treated horribly.
