I was very impressed with the service, but the food was less than what I expected.
TAMALES: At that price, I don't expect to receive an average tasting tamale (especially their pork tamale). The bean tomale I ordered couldn't have been farther from what the name suggested. I struggled to see, let alone taste any beans.
BEANS: The ""charro"" beans were lukewarm. Food should be kept at extremes to prevent bacteria growth. Lukewarm beans calls into question their policy on food temperatures.
TACOS: The beef taco.. (tasted just like something from Taco Cabana)...
1) The tomato used wasn't exactly my favorite & ill-suited for tacos...
2) The beef, though juicy, was medium rare... ozzing redness is not appetizing...
On the positive side, their service was incredibly efficient. The server brought my order shortly after I had taken a seat.
Their Tres Leches cake was delicious, moist through and through.
Pros: Service, Fast, Ambiance
