This is my first review on citysearch, but it's also one of the few times I actually felt compelled to write a review.\r

I LOVE WALTER FOODS. My partners and I frequent this place (our store is right across the street) after we finish long nights at the office. The atmosphere is comforting - makes me wish my living room was Walter Foods. The menu is straightforward and has exactly what I want on it - raw oysters, meat, and potatoes. The specials are on point. If you see fritters on the specials menu, GET IT x's 10, b/c they are food from God's hand. Done and done. And they even have Budweiser! What else could you ask for?\r

We have been regulars here ever since they opened, sometimes eating here 4 times a week. Don't sleep on this place! You won't regret it.
Pros: Freshest oysters in Williamsburg! Filet Mignon! Fritters! Ambience! Dapper wait staff
Cons: They're not open for lunch!
