Review content:
On March 28, 2008, I came to Kwik shop on 2312 Parmer Lane, Austin, TX, only for an oil change. However, the mechanics in this shop convinced me to do a radiator service as well and charged me $59.99 for it. They used the high pressure water to flush the radiator which was found later cause the severe damage of my radiator. Three weeks later, On April18, 2008, my car got overheated on the highway. During these three weeks, I only drove my car for 478 mile(from 111945m to 112424m). On April 19, my car was towed in to their shop for a check. They denied what they had done to my car and were very rude to my wife and me. They failed to find that the real underlying cause of the overheating is the cracked radiator and charged me another $105. They even yelled at us. We are very disappointed at them. On April 21, I had my car repaired at another automotive repair shop. The mechanics there took off the radiator. The cracked radiator proves to be the cause of overheat. It is irresponsible or lack of professional knowledge for the mechanics in their shop suggest a flush the radiator of my 11-year old car. For a car as old as mine, you should never do the radiator flush. They only want to earn the money and never consider the condition and the real needs for your car.
Pros: Nothing
Cons: bad attitude and lack of common knowledge for cars
