Review content:
I am currently staying at the hotel for a long weekend and I thought I would just write a litle something for the people who are looking to come to the hotel in the future. I agree with the first review. Alot of old world charm to it. Hallways seemed a little creepy. Reminds me of The Shining but I have to say if you're looking for an upscale, modern room with a nice big soaking tub, and a contemporary decor, this is not the place. \r The Starbucks downstairs in the lobby is a redeeming factor however, don't count on walking outside to a nice resturant or area. I felt that the surrounding area felt alitle run down. Homeless were all over the place and it just had this overall downlow and dirty vibe to it. We walked through it in order to get to a little better location, a mall that seemed fairly new. \r I'd say overall the hotel was very nice but the surrounding area was (and I""m sorry San Fran) but it was garbage and unfortunately this nice hotel was in the middle of it. So if you're planning on coming, this hotel was definitely an experience but plan on taking a cab to most places you'll wanna see because I highly recommend you don't stroll around here.
