I visited Lori Lambert today to discuss birth control options and have an annual exam. I have irregular periods so I wanted a birth control that will make me more predictable and help to prevent pregnancy. She provided thorough information regarding her number one choice method, and explained usage in detail. However I wanted to weigh the options regarding pills and injections, while she seemed somewhat set on her decision to prescribe the ring. I'm going to give it a shot because she so heavily recommended it, however I'm worried about using it during intercourse and am not entirely sure this is the right choice for me. I wish we would have discussed other options. The exam was thorough and easy. She explained everything to me in detail and provided me with useful information. Both her and her nurse were friendly and easy to get along with. It's not easy to smile while you're being poked and prodded down there, but they made the exam a breeze. When I made my appointment some of the reviews on this site terrified me, but overall it was not such a bad experience. Maybe these other users caught the doc on a bad day. Unfortunately it happens to the best of us! Which is why I left this review. Most people only come here to complain or to heavily brag, it's not often you see a normal review. This doctors visit was ok, and I will be going back.
