Businiess name:  Malay Satay Hut

Review content:
We first happened on the Malay Satay Hut several days after it had opened and were thrilled to find a congenial Malaysian/Singaporean restaurant with dozens of authentic-sounding tastes and dishes. (We lived in Singapore and have traveled in Malaysia.) In additon, it's a handsome space. Our table of five ordered a lot of food (for not a lot of money). My father-in-law had a durian shake - not something you find often in the states. Have been back to this restaurant at least six times, for lunches and dinners. ""Achat,"" an appetizer made from pickled carrots and other vegetables in a peanut sauce, is divine. The tofu dishes, ditto. Vegetables are fresh and the flavors are wide-ranging. The service has been unfailingly helpful and friendly. Have I mentioned ""unpretentious""? Your server will not congratulate you on your choices. This is a really great restaurant that I've taken out-of-towners to, and everyone's been very pleased.
