just came back from dinner at Havanna's in downtown Norfolk with 2 of my girlfriends. We waited 45 minutes for out appetizer (nachos) and 1 1/2 hours for our meals. Our server was in the weeds the entire night, forgot to ring in our order, and completely neglected our table. We asked to speak to the manager at the end of our meal to see about getting something comped for taking so long for our food. The manager came out and was completely rude to us saying that the kitchen was backed up and their policy does not for the kitchen being backed up. He was very rude and condescending in the way he spoke to us. The owner initially refused to talk to us and then came out to the table and was nastier than anyone has ever spoken to us. He said that the customer is not always right and screamed (yes screamed and cussed) at us....tellling us that we were being babies and wining. He said if you want it your way, go to burgerking! Then after we were paying, he was demeanering us and talking about us to other tables. I have never in my life been treated with such unprofessionalism and clearly he does not care about his customers or the business. Our server was in tears at the table and said he acts like this to any customer that makes a complaint. I wanted to let everyone know to pass this along in case you are making a decision on whether to eat there or not. I know I will never go back, despite how much I like the food.
