Review content:
We hired HMS after a reasonably long search for a moving company whom we felt would act on our best behalf and would provide us with old fashioned service. That is something that my husband and I have found, is not easy to find. ( Moving to Washington, DC all the way from Boston can be daunting!)
We received an on site estimate from Shawn who explained every detail of the process and also reassured us from the beginning that our items would be safe and in the hands of real professionals. We liked him very much from the start, however, we had to check to be sure. I called the BBB and also asked for a copy of their certificate of insurance. (I never really had a doubt, but had to check for due diligence purposes!)
Next, we received an email estimate within about 8 hours and all pricing and loading and delivery dates were guaranteed. HMS also afforded us $40,000 of full replacement coverage as well. HMS was there to assist us on every question, they always answer their phones and they were extremely helpful and polite too.
Lastly, the movers were simply fantastic. They wrapped everything well and wasted very little time on both ends. No damages, no delays, no price increases.
We recommend HMS to anyone wanting a quality mover for a decent price. Three cheers for this group!
