Businiess name:  Cat Vet Of South Street
Review by:  citysearch c.
Review content:
I told Dr. McKinstry I had a lot of questions as a new cat owner, and she never took the time to ask me what my questions were. My cat lashed out and she decided to tranquilize him - I'm not too impressed with a vet who can't cut my cat's toenails without tranquilizing him! While he was asleep, she suggested doing a few tests, just in case I needed the information for the future. She did not explain to me how much more this would cost me, and there was no immediate need for the tests. Then she recommended an animal behaviorist but could only give me a last name, and left her receptionist to look up the phone number on AOL! Not surprisingly, the receptionist was unable to find it by typing only the last name into a search box. I left the office fairly upset, because Dr. McKinstry kept telling me ""This is a bad cat,"" and I wish that either she or the assistant had noticed I was upset and said something encouraging. Pros: easy to get an appointment Cons: all staff expressed that they didn't like my cat
