The Tokyo Tea House on Rte. 940 in the Poconos is set back off the road among a few other shops. We almost missed it. Too bad we didn't keep driving. When we entered the restaurant for dinner, the staff completely ignored us. After about 10 minutes, we pointed out an empty table for 2 to a server but it then took another 15 minutes to ""prepare"" the table. When we were seated, the plastic placemats were stuck to the table. It took 20 minutes to place our order and another 20 minutes for a server to return and ask us if we needed anything else. ""ANYTHING ELSE""?! We just wanted our dinner! The staff was rude, slow, and unprofessional. They could not remember which order went with which table. The sushi was average (and a little overpriced). And I never did get the soup that was part of my order. What a nightmare! When the check arrived, it listed dumplings that we did not order. We even had to wait to pay our bill - with cash in my hand. If you are looking for good service, this is not the place. Do yourself a favor. Find a restaurant that wants customers.\r
