Review content:
We recently moved to Rohnert Park from San Mateo. While looking for a new house and trying to sell our old one, we spent a lot of time in Rohnert Park. The first thing I noticed about Rohnert Park was that they had just about every fast food joint and chain restaurant imaginable. This, to us, was not a good thing. But we found a house we fell in love with and finally sold our old one.\r

Prior to moving we stayed at the Doubletree hotel and walked to a local restaurant called Latitudes. The bar is great, the food was better than anything we had tried in Rohnert Park so far. I had the macadamia crusted Mahi. My husband had the ribs. The mahi was the special that night. The next time we went, the special was macadamia nut crusted halibut, which they were out of, so I ordered off the menu and got the crab crusted mahi. It was okay, but I started to notice a theme. The last time we ate their, I ordered their special, which was macadamia nut crusted mahi again.\r

This time it was not good. The service was marginal at best. We had to ask for bread, which came out hot and fresh but that was as good as it got. I am only rating this restaurant a 4. The lounge area that night was also really bad. We sat at our table and waited for a snobby waiter to finally take our order. I had a lemon drop that was only 1/2 full! The waiter also had to be summoned by a very conscientous hostess who noticed us just sitting there. When our drinks were taking so long to get to the table, she had to once again find our waiter.\r
\r
The lounge used to be it's saving grace. The specials are not very special at all, to say the least. I wonder what kind of fish they will crust next time? Sadly, we won't be going back. It is not that difficult to drive to Santa Rosa or Petaluma. At least they have good restaurants!\r

I wish that someone with cooking skills beyond crusting fish with nuts would open up a restaurant. It 's been difficult adjusting to Ropa
Pros: The restaurant and lounge area are completely separate and do not interere with each other.
Cons: Their specials never change. They are just menu items.
