Went to the ER at 730 am and went right in. ER doctors (I had 2 different Dr's) were both great, extreemly knowledgable and took every precaution checking everything. Nurses in the ER were great as well. I would highly recommend this ER and it's staff. Upon being admitted to the hospital, this is where things went bad. It took 4 hours for them to send someone down to get me and bring me up eventhough a room was ready the whole time. Once in the room and throughout the rest of my 1 day stay, the nursing staff needed to be constantly reminded by me why I was there, my medications I needed to be taking and all other information that should have been on my chart. They never communicated with each other during shift changes and it took forever for them to come in if I needed something. My medicine was mis-ordered a couple times and when I said that I had extreem pain in my head (why I was there in the first place) the following morning, no medication was given to me. I had to wait to be discharged to go to the store and get my own. One of the nurses actually told me that it would be faster if I was discharged and went to the store rather than them calling down to the pharmacy and ordering the meds for me. They should be ashamed of the level of care in the hospital. Sorry, but its what happened to me. I will use the ER again, they were great.
