Businiess name:  Sweet Lorraine's Cafe & Bar

Review content:
The brunch buffet at this particular Sweet Lorraine's is outstanding. The variety, quantity and quality of food available makes this $20 brunch by far the best I've found anywhere in metro Detroit. They have everything from made-to-order omelettes and waffles to shrimp, fresh carved roast beef, fruits and desserts. We've had brunch here on many occasions with large groups, and were always very pleased.\r \r However, I was unimpressed when we had a dinner meal at this restaurant. The service wasn't very good, and while the food was okay (nothing special), the carrot cake they made for my friend's 40th birthday party seemed like it was a bit stale. I wondered if it was leftover from the Sunday brunch a few days earlier.\r \r So, I recommend this Sweet Lorraines highly for brunch, but I can't strongly recommend it for other meals. \r \r BTW, the brunch at this Sweet Lorraines is different than the brunch at the Southfield Sweet Lorrianes (which is just a limited menu to order from - the food was good, but the Livonia buffet is much preferred!) Pros: Terrific brunch, great for large groups Cons: can be a little noisy, dinner service was mediocre
