Review content:
I went there with my girlfriend June 17 in search of one or the other. Since we were in the area and I'd never been there, we'd try it. The guy working there is very nice and friendly and offered great service so it pains me to rate it so low. First, the hot p0t (stupid censors) is simply water rather than some broth or mixture. Second, the available dipping sauces left much to be desired. Neither one of us recognized what ""satay"" sauce was supposed to be or what it was made from. The sesame sauce was some watered down peanut sauce, according to my GF. One of the things I like about Korean BBQ is the panchan (look it up if you're unfamiliar). They had none whatsoever except for a pathetic sample of cabbage kim chi. But their biggest problem is the quality of the meats. Cooking and eating low grade meats is kind of gross. I kind of suspected that this place wouldn't be great because when a restaurant tries to do more than one thing, it rarely does any of them well. I will say that if you're level of cuisine is Godzilla sushi, you might like this place. As a frame of reference, I went to cooking school and lived in Japan and am Asian so I do have an idea about food, particularly Asian cuisine.
Pros: Friendly service
Cons: Just plain bad food.
