my happy-hour crew just switch over to going to the carolina ale house recently. we had been going to another local pub for about 2 years straight (...working on getting plates on the wall!) but now that we have drank ourselves silly, we are ready to slow down the pace. the ale house has a lovely patio, that is excellent for wining & dining outside. the atmosphere is less smokey than traditional bars and the food is great.
Pros: atmosphere, outside dining, food
Cons: little pricey
