Review content:
It had been a while since I picked up some new comics and thought I'd go by to see what was showing up on the shelves. When checking out, I was asked if I wanted to keep the bags and boards on the comics that I was purchasing. At first I thought it a bit odd, ""Of course I want to keep them bagged and boarded"", as that is how they are placed on the shelf for consumption. I later realized that I was being charged 50 cents per item for them NOT having to remove the comics from the bags and boards. Mind you, they don't stock unbagged/unboarded comics on the shelves. To top it off, I was even charged a ""bag/board"" fee for a Marvel Essentials book that wasn't bagged or boarded, but simply shrink wrapped. There was no way to extract the book without destroying the shrink wrap. Maybe I'm just a grumpy old man, but this appeared to be a little excessive. Pros: Clean store, nice employees, good stock/variety Cons: Excessive charge for bagging and boarding.
