I had to declare bankruptcy after job loss back in the beginning of 2009. My utility bill was included for a home I no longer lived in. Utility company has it correctly marked as a balance of $0 and discharged in bankruptcy with last report month being my month of discharge in May of 2009. Over two years later, this unscrupulous zombie debt buyer comes along and adds a collection to my credit report and improperly dates the original date as January of 2011. Thankfully they're too stupid to even get their dates right, can't wait to meet these clowns in court. They probably bought my file for under a dollar, can't wait to stick it to them. Trying to collect discharged debt should be punishable by fines and felony charges for those in charge of this company.
