Review content:
We decided to eat at The Beach House over the weekend. I hadn't been there in a while and the food and music was always good. Little did we know there was a new owner (don't know why Bobby Cure sold it) The menu had changed alot and so did the atmosphere. It was surprisingly empty for a weekend night. I do have to say that the service was good, we had a very friendly waitress. Unfortunately, for the price we had to pay, the food was just mediocre. The baked potato salad tasted too cheesy and rich. We had a gift certificate for the dinner which we gave to the waitress but the new owner refused to honor it, He was rude and very disrespectful about it. So fair warning, don't go there with a gift card or gift certificate, he will not honor it. We learned the hard way after spending $45 on a small dinner. I sincerely hope the new owner realizes that New Orleans is a very hospitable town and treating your customers poorly is not the way to help your new business grow.
