service and food were impeccable. both maitre d's went out of their way to make sure our dinner and service were top of the line. my wife had the shrimp scampi appetizer and veal marsala entree, shes a great cook but raved about everything she had down to the fresh homemade napoleans which were incredible. i had the fried calamari appetizer which was outstanding, and a delicious seafood in linguine pasta dish. it was a very romantic and tasteful evening one that we'd both recomend for anyone coming to nyc and in the mood for some great italian cuisine. bravo campagnola we'll be back everytime we visit the big apple.....jim and eddi maxwell
