So I've been experiencing a lot of tightness in my shoulder muscle. A friend of mine recommended I go to Oak Pointe Chiropractic. It's right by my house so I thought I would give it a shot. I've never been to a chiropractor and my insurance doesn't cover it, so I was pleasantly surprised to find out they offer massages too. The prices were very reasonable so I decided I would just get a massage for now and see if it helps. I called yesterday and made an appointment for the today. I've never had a massage and I really liked the idea of going to an actual medical office and not some massage parlor type setting. The woman I spoke to on the phone was super friendly and very helpful. I came in today for my massage appointment with Amada. Before getting the massage I had a consultation with Dr. Steve. I really enjoyed meeting him. He was friendly and not at all pushy. I was expecting him to come in and tell me I needed all this chiropractic work, but it wasn't like that at all. He just asked some questions and actually seemed interested in my answers! Not like my regular doctors, who treat me like I'm taking up too much of their time as it is. I met with Amada, who was going to be my masseuse, she was also super friendly. She made me feel very comfortable. She explained to me the procedure of the massage and didn't mind answering my questions. Also, the massage was amazing! She paid special attention to my shoulder that has been bothering me and it started to feel better as she was rubbing it. I could tell she really knew what she was doing. I can't wait to go back and get another massage from Amada. My shoulder has felt like new since I left the office! She rocks!
All in all, my experience at Oak Pointe Chiropractic was flawless. Everyone was very friendly and professional and I will definitely be going back... and recommending it to all my friends.
