What a horrible experience! I had a gift certificate that was given to me as a wedding present and I saved it since it had NO expiration date on it. I reserved a room for a family member who was coming from out of town. A couple of days before they were to arrive I confirmed the room and told him about the gift certificate. He even asked how old it was and I told him. I left the gift certificate and the DAY BEFORE my family arrived he called and said the room was no longer available. He said the gift certificate was too old. I argued with him and told him I made a copy of the gift certificate and it didn't have an expiration date. He was rude, and said that the room would not be available to me. Now I have to find another place for them to stay last minute!
