Review content:
I have lived in Essex Place Apartments for a few years now and if it wasn't for the price we pay for rent I would be gone by now. In short, this place is a disaster. The outward appearance is maintained well, but that is how they trick you. The staff is sooooo rude and the last person that reviewed this place was completely right... They will not give you the number to the corporate office to complain and it has since been removed off of their webpage as well. The maintenance people seem nice, but if you have a request to get something fixed you better call a month or two in advance. One time my basement flooded, so I called the EMERGENCY ON CALL NUMBER!!! Not sure what that was for as I did not hear from them until 2 days later. The leasing agent told me that more people had the same problem and they would assess mine once they got around to it. So, if you want cheap rent it might be okay to live there, but if you want to live with crabby leasing agents and ""when I get around to it,"" maintenance people, then I suggest you live somewhere else. Pros: Good Outward Apperance and Location Cons: Leasing Agents Rude and Maintenance Issues
