Review content:
I went for a haircut in November. Without any hesitation or exaggeration, I can honestly say this is the WORST haircut I have ever had in my 48 years of life. I couldn't stand to look at myself in the mirror. When I did, I invariably started crying. I can't believe I paid someone $70 to do this to me. My hair looked like it had been cut with a weedwhacker. The sides and top were uneven in length. The back was cut so short and flat; it looked like someone smacked me in the back of my head with a shovel. I made it VERY clear to the stylist that I DIDN'T want my hair short. I even brought a picture to show her what I wanted. The stylist didn't listen to any of my input. If my stylist didn't think she could make my hair look the way I wanted, she should have told me so, rather than attempting to work with my kind of hair (very wavy). That's why I chose to go to an establishment with a good reputation and experienced stylists. I was willing to pay more than I usually pay to get the new look I wanted. I know there's nothing I can do at this point but wait for my hair to grow out. As it grows, it is becoming even more unattractive, if that's possible. I was severely affected by this experience. I had a job interview recently with a company I really wanted to work for. I thought I would go in there with a really good haircut; looking and feeling good about myself. I was so self-conscious about my hair; I don't think I was able to project any kind of confidence, whatsoever. The salon website has a feedback feature which I used to inform them of my extreme dissatisfaction. I never heard back from them. Not an apology, not a note about trying to rectify the situation. I'm glad I found this review feature on Citysearch to warn others and keep them from making the same mistake I did.
