Review content:
Queenbee100's review sounds dead on to me. I have been to see Dr. Fitzgerald a few times for different procedures. She has a decent sense of humor and is fairly knowledgeable but always acts like there's somewhere else she'd rather be and has a tactless, phony demeanor. Extremely sales-y. I put all of this aside and continued to go back, telling myself that this is LA and most doctors here are jaded and dismissive, since it's really close to my house and her rates are better than some. A WEEK prior she'd given me restalyne under my eyes but did it unevenly. I was told when I called to come back in and she'd fix it for free, which in my opinion is her obligation to me. She started talking about my lips when she got into the room and how they looked fine and all this talk about the lips and I had to interrupt and remind her it was my EYES that she had injected and that were the concern. She evaded the subject and tried to tell me i could do more restalyne in both. It's like, just fix my uneven eye bag already, please! After robotically repeating the impersonal ""I understand how you feel"", she finally had a moment of honesty and told me she'd ""have to charge me for it"", blaming the ""miscommunication"" on ""new staff"", which is especially hilarious considering that I have given her three referrals. To top it off, somewhere in the middle of all this, a male member of her staff comes in with surgical equipment and asked me ""So where are we doing the biopsy today?"" which was kind of the last straw for me. It's really just not worth it for me to come here anymore. I just politely left without getting anything fixed. This was not the first incident that she had no recollection of what I had been in for or dismissed my questions, but it was certainly the rudest. She's like a weird frazzled b**** on a power trip and it makes for a stressful atmosphere in that place. Gonna find someone more honest and attentive to see in the future, I'm done with this one.
Pros: close to larchmont village, newer practice so fees lower than some, Julie (laser) is very nice
Cons: Dr, Fitgerald's flaky attitude and nonexistent bedside manner
