Four stars for the amazing, buttery, flaky, not overly sweet almond croissant that I picked up as a treat for myself one chilly afternoon. I think I almost swooned when I took my first bite.
One word of warning: if you want a double espresso to go with that, as I did, go across the street (or on any corner) to Starbucks as Petrossian will charge you by the shot. That's right, my double espresso cost $16. I was in such shock for being such an idiot for not asking the price that I simply paid, dumbfounded, and left. Good lesson for me - suck it up and ASK how much they charge for an espresso. Even $8 for a single shot is too rich for me. I was thinking perhaps that I'd find tiny gold flecks at the bottom of my to-go cup for that price but alas, that was not the case.
