Businiess name:  Spot Dessert Bar

Review content:
Where can you go and have a good cup of caffeine or a little sweet nibble without dealing with the stroller brigade? This place just hits the sweet spot for that need. Located on St. Mark's Place - this dessert bar has a sign board on the street level (don't blink or you'll miss it) and you have to go down the basement to enter a cool and dark chic interior with ambient music. But the real draw here are the desserts. I've had the Chocolate Mint cookie which was soft and delectable with a hot organic mint tea. (But I really wanted the Vietnamese Coffee ice cream. However, it was melted that day - too bad.) Total bill for that was $3 and change. The cupcakes are a must try and the Vanilla Vietnamese Coffee was heavenly and not too overly sweet as I paired it with a Hot Thai Milk Coffee. Total bill $4 for the cupcake and hot drink special (11a-6p). This could be a spot to detox from the crazy hipster coffee houses and the generic Starbuck's on every corner. Come on your own or bring a friend/date. Either way - the Spot knows how to tickle your sweet fantasies. Pros: Dark chic interior, great cupcakes, cool sexy vibe Cons: Items unavailable, not on street level
