I rented an apartment from Management Corporation for six months. I have always paid my rents on time, and am always clean and quiet. Before moving out I carefully cleaned the whole apartment over a week. Yet in the end I was charged with every conceivable, random ""cleaning"" services, and lost my entire deposit ($375) plus $70 more. Looking around online I found that actually this is very common: lots of other renters were scammed of their deposits and more by Management Corporation. If only I have done my research online before renting from them!!! The lesson: don't ever rent from Management Corporation, unless you don't mind paying ~$400 extra.
