Review content:
I will never step foot in that establishment - ever!! The reason - On Columbus Day weekend 2010, we had family visiting from Canada. A small group of us, all in our mid fifties to early sixties, were wandering downtown Naperville. We were looking for a fun pub, to eat and quaff a few. As we approached the Blackfinn, a stocky man wearing a ball cap backwards (we think he was the bouncer), body blocked the door and said fairly loudly, ""Go away old men, you're not wanted here."" Luckily the guys in our group were distracted by another friend walking by, or this lowlife and his buddies would have found themselves looking at the sky from the sidewalk. One of the ""Old Guys"" has his 2nd degree blackbelt in Tae Quan Do, and he would not have tolerated such rudeness.
My inlaws are really fun party people and would have been great patrons. We took our business elsewhere. Your loss Blackfinn.
Naperville doesn't need this type of place. We are a family friendly town, (or we used to be!!)
